Known for being the first person to portray the Marvel superhero Blade in the 1998 film (and later sequels) and probably the most prominent African American actor to play a comic book character, this martial artist is a 5th dan Shotokan Karate master, has a 2nd dan in Hapkido, 2nd dan in Taekwondo, and has also trained in Kickboxing, Capoeira, Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu, Shaolin Kung Fu, Eskrima, and Silat.
